Gil Feliciano

Gil Feliciano has a strong background in IT infrastructure and information security, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Gil has worked for companies such as MMM Holdings LLC, Abarca Health LLC, MAPFRE Puerto Rico, TData Puerto Rico, TLData Advance Communication Services, TLD of Puerto Rico, and Puerto Rico Telephone Company. Throughout their career, Gil has held positions such as Director of IT Infrastructure, Infrastructure Architect, Infrastructure Director, IT Infrastructure & Information Security Manager, Information Security & Telecom Manager, Telecom Manager, Business Solutions Manager, Sales Engineering Supervisor, Project Manager, and Network Engineer. Their responsibilities have included implementing corporate strategies, running day-to-day operations, implementing information security policies, and managing WAN, telephony, and IT infrastructure expenses. Gil has also been involved in project management, disaster recovery, cost reduction solutions design, and technical sales support.

Gil Feliciano received a high school diploma in General Studies from Esc. Sup. Adolfo Grana Rivera from 1986 to 1989. Later, from 1989 to 1995, they pursued a BSEE degree in Engineering from UPR Mayagüez Campus. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained certifications such as CISM 2022: Managing Risk and CISM 2022: Information Security Governance from Skillsoft in the years 2024 and 2023 respectively. Furthermore, they obtained the SecOps Tool Landscape: Intro to Security Tools (SecTools) certification from Skillsoft in 2023 and the Metasploit Pro Specialist certification from Rapid7 in 2022.
