Carianne Duncan has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to consumer and product research. Carianne currently serves as the Vice President of Consumer & Product Research at MMR Research. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Sensory & Consumer Insights at Research America, Inc. and the Vice President of Sensory & Consumer Insights at CURION. In 2018, Carianne founded their own company, Insights to Innovate LLC. Carianne also has experience as the President and Co-Owner of MISA USA LLC, where they successfully started a business venture focused on providing tracking solutions for the transportation industry. Earlier in their career, Carianne held managerial positions at Procter & Gamble, where they were responsible for product design, development, and fragrance design across various categories. Carianne also worked as a microbiologist at Kao Brands and as a flavor technologist at Givaudan.
Carianne Duncan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Athens State University between 1992 and 1995. Carianne then pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2011. Prior to their university education, Carianne attended Cherokee High School from 1985 to 1990. Additionally, they studied Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of North Carolina Asheville for the period of 1990 to 1992, although they did not receive a degree from this institution.
