James Gater

James Gater's work experience begins in 2008 when they started as a Trainee Sensory Researcher at Unilever. James then worked as a Sensory Researcher at Sheffield Hallam University from July 2009 to October 2009. In 2010, they joined MMR Research Worldwide as a Sensory Research Executive and later held positions as a Senior Sensory Consultant (Asia) and Sensory Solutions Head (China). In 2015, they joined International Flavors & Fragrances where they held roles as Regional Sensory Manager EAME and CSI Global Sensory Senior Manager. James currently serves as the Head of MMR Netherlands at MMR Research.

James Gater completed a Mini MBA in Marketing and a Mini MBA in Brand Management from Marketing Week in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) degree in Food and Nutrition.
