Susan Thompson

Susan Thompson is an accomplished Principal Medical Writer at MMS since November 2014, with a diverse background in science education and technical writing. Prior to this role, Susan worked as a Chemistry and Science Tutor at Tutor.com, and as a Science Teacher at Auldern Academy, where Susan provided instruction tailored for secondary students facing personal challenges. Susan's experience includes an Instructional Design Internship at Biogen Idec, serving as a Technical Writer and Quality Control Manager at Gorbec Pharmaceutical Services, and holding the position of Lead Scientist at both Cardinal Health and Catalent. Additionally, Susan has taught a range of chemistry and science courses at various public schools while contributing as a Science Olympiad coach. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland.
