Sylvia Yu

Sylvia Yu currently serves as the Director of Power Origination at MN8 Energy since July 2023, focusing on power purchase agreements (PPAs), virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs), renewable energy certificates (RECs), low carbon fuel standards (LCFS), and data center strategy. Prior to this role, Sylvia worked at Tesla from January 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included managing regulatory credits related to LCFS, RECs, and e-RINs. Additionally, experience at BP from August 2016 to January 2021 involved handling environmental products such as Cap-and-Trade Accounts (CCA), Carbon Credits (CCO), LCFS, and renewable identification numbers (RINs). Sylvia Yu is an alumnus of the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2016.
