Joanna Coker

Joanna Coker is an accomplished professional in fundraising and income generation, currently serving as the Director of Income Generation at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association since May 2024, where strategic leadership is provided as part of the Executive Leadership Team. Previously, Joanna spent 18 years at RSPB, holding several key positions including Director of Fundraising & Commercial and Deputy Director of Income, successfully leading a department of over 200 people to generate approximately £100 million in revenue to support the organization's mission. Joanna's extensive experience encompasses roles such as Deputy Director of Supporter Development and Head of Supporter Marketing, where significant contributions were made to fundraising initiatives and supporter engagement. Joanna founded an online ladies golf clothing business and was the Core Business Manager at Westminster Collection prior to the extensive career at RSPB. Educational qualifications include a BA Hons in Marketing & Psychology from the University of Bedfordshire and a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
