Kiran Goyal currently serves as a Research Officer for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, facilitating the organization of the 2024 ALS/MND International Symposium in Montreal while producing scientific content on current MND research. Previously, Kiran held the position of Supervisor at The Smallpeice Trust and completed a Master's program at Cardiff University where a pilot study on Huntington's Disease was conducted using patient-derived cell cultures. Additional research experience includes investigating mitochondrial responses in glial cells at the UK Dementia Research Institute and participating in various leadership roles at Cardiff University Art Society and Cardiff University Squash Club. Kiran's academic background features a degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience from Cardiff University.
