Gjermund Vidhammer

Gjermund Vidhammer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Gjermund is currently a Board Member at Forsvarets høgskoleforening (FHSF), a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Gjermund worked at mnemonic as, where they held various positions such as Head of Department. Governance, Risk & Compliance., Team Leader for Governace, Risk & Compliance (GRC), CISO/Sikkerhetsansvarlig, Senior consultant for Governace, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Consultant. Gjermund worked at mnemonic as from 2004 to the present day.

In addition to mnemonic as, Gjermund also served as a Board Member at Norsk Informasjonssikkerhetsforum (ISF) from 2008 to 2011.

Furthermore, Gjermund had a role as an Officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces from 1997 to 1998.

Gjermund Vidhammer's education history includes several degrees and certifications. Gjermund obtained an Executive Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School, studying from 2008 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Communication Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), studying from 1999 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Vidhammer attended the Officers' Training School in the Norwegian Armed Forces (Befalskolen for Hærens Samband) and became a 2nd lieutenant from 1995 to 1997.

Vidhammer has also attained various certifications. Gjermund received the CCSP: Certified Cloud Security Professional certification from (ISC)² in November 2019. In 2014, they obtained the TOGAF 9 Foundation certification from The Open Group. Gjermund also holds the CRISC: Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control certification from ISACA, obtained in September 2011. Furthermore, they acquired the CISA: Certified Information Systems Auditor certification from ISACA in April 2008. Lastly, Vidhammer received the GIAC Certified ISO-27000 Specialist certification from the SANS Institute in August 2007.
