Benjamín Villegas Méndez

Benjamín Villegas Méndez has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. Benjamín began their career at Mekaindustrial S.R.L. as an Ingeniero de mantenimiento. In 2019, they worked at Fadesa as a Pasante, where they were responsible for analyzing production processes and designing machinery to automate them. Benjamín then moved on to Quantum Motors S.A. where they held the roles of Jefe de producción and Jefe de área técnica e investigador. Later in 2019, they began working at Industria Fácil as an Ingeniero de diseño electrónico, where they were responsible for developing software for programmable automatons, micro controllers, and machinery for the food industry. Currently, they are employed at Mobi Latam as Head of Hardware and at CREOTEC as Chief Technology Officer.

Benjamín Villegas Méndez obtained a Licenciatura in Ingeniería mecatrónica from Universidad Católica Boliviana between 2013 and 2018. Benjamín has also obtained several certifications, including AWS Machine Learning Foundations from Udacity in October 2021, AI SATURDAYS LA PAZ mención en DEEP LEARNING from Saturdays.AI in July 2021, Using Python to Access Web Data from Coursera in July 2021, Desarrollo de Plataformas Web para Internet de las Cosas IoT from Microchip Technology Inc. in May 2021, AI Saturdays La Paz, especialización Machine Learning from Saturdays.AI in October 2020, Python Data Structures from Coursera in September 2020, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from Coursera in July 2020.
