Suren Ramasubbu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tata Infotech Ltd. and then as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech/American Electric Power from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 to 2008, they were an Operating Manager - Web, R&D Engineer - Quality Tech Lead and R&D Engineer at Agilent Technologies Inc., where they developed software on a variety of features and platforms for a large scale simulation software product used for communication system design and verification. Suren also managed multiple software development projects executed by independent contractors, university partners and teams in other divisions/geographies, and provided training classes, white-papers and hands-on support for marketing and technical support staff. In 2008, they became the President and CEO of Mobicip and the IT Director of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network.
Suren Ramasubbu obtained an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management between 2005 and 2008, focusing on Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and Entrepreneurship. Suren also earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech between 1999 and 2001. Suren'sundergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engg from PSG College of Technology, which they completed between 1993 and 1998.
