Fred Michuki

Fred Michuki has a diverse work experience in the finance and technology sectors. Fred co-founded and served as the Managing Director of MFS Technologies Limited, where they focused on using technology to provide financial services to entrepreneurs. Fred later joined InsureMe_Ke as a Principal Officer, where they developed digital channels for purchasing insurance policies and partnered with various players in the industry to create innovative solutions. Prior to these roles, Fred held several positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including Managing Director of Commercial Banking for Kenya and East Africa, Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance for East Africa, Director of Global Corporates, Director and Senior Banker for the Public Sector, and Head of Market Risk in Global Markets. Fred also worked at Citi as the Chief Dealer for Spot Forex, Forwards, and Money Market Desks, where they managed trading desks and focused on asset and liability management.

Fred Michuki completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Boston University in the years 1989 to 1993. Fred further pursued a Master of Science degree in International Securities and Investment Banking from the ICMA Centre from 1998 to 1999.
