Victor Cardoner

Victor Cardoner has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Victor currently holds the position of Director at Caixa Capital Risc, where they are responsible for multi-stage Venture Capital fund investing in B2B SaaS and Deeptech startups in Europe. Prior to this, Victor worked at CaixaBank for two years as Manager of DayOne, where they led the Corporate Venturing initiative and provided qualified leads for technology and innovation departments.

Before joining CaixaBank, Victor worked at Santander for over a decade in various roles. As Senior Product Manager, they managed the Interest Rates product strategy and worked closely with different departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, as Structured Products Sales and Marketing Manager, Victor was responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of various financial products. Victor also played a key role in leading the development of a lifecycle management and secondary market platform.

Victor Cardoner completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 1993 to 1999. Victor then pursued a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, Victor enrolled in the IESE Business School and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Financial Mathematics, which they completed in 2007.
