Dan Cohrs

Dan Cohrs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dan is currently the Co-Founder, Director, and CFO of Mobile X Global, a connectivity-as-a-service AI mobile provider. Dan is also a Member of the Advisory Board at Corinex, a leader in broadband-over-powerline smart-grid technology.

In the past, Cohrs worked as an Associate at Creative Destruction Lab, where they provided mentoring to science and technology-based companies. Dan also served as the Chief Financial Officer at D-Wave Systems Inc., a quantum computing company, where they played a key role in closing acquisitions and financing rounds.

Earlier in their career, Cohrs worked in various roles at Amp'd Mobile, Agency 3.0, and SkyCrest Ventures, assisting clients with M&A, financing, and business development. Dan also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Global Crossing, a telecommunications company.

Cohrs started their career at GTE Corporation (later merged with Bell Atlantic to form Verizon), where they held positions such as Chief Planning & Development Officer, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer. Dan was involved in significant financial transactions during their time at GTE.

Lastly, Cohrs held roles at Northwest Airlines, including Vice President - International Finance and Vice President - Capital Markets, where they played a key role in negotiating joint ventures.

Dan Cohrs received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Michigan State University between 1972 and 1975. Dan later pursued higher education at Cornell University, where they obtained a Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Finance, Economics, and Public Policy from 1976 to 1982.
