Gorm Sørensen

Gorm Sørensen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both mobile and backend development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Vipps MobilePay since May 2023 and at MobilePay since April 2018, Gorm has a proven track record in software engineering roles, including twelve years at Silk Music, where responsibilities encompassed A&R coordination and project management for artist releases. Previous positions include software engineering roles at Danske Bank, where Gorm contributed to various payment systems, and as a research assistant at Aarhus University, focusing on smart building technologies. Gorm holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aarhus School of Engineering. Additionally, Gorm co-founded Monstercat Silk, an electronic music label known for its quality progressive house and chillout music.
