Dmitry Laptev

Dmitry Laptev is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in technology development and strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Technology Development at МТС since June 2021, Dmitry leads over 700 technology professionals in creating a premier digital ecosystem in Russia, focusing on technology strategy, architecture, data, and tech transformation public relations. Prior to МТС, Dmitry held the position of Executive Director of IT Strategy at Sberbank, overseeing IT strategy for its subsidiaries. Dmitry's previous roles include leadership of the IT transformation practice at EY, where responsibilities included digital transformation initiatives and the implementation of AI/ML, as well as roles at Deloitte CIS, PwC Russia, and Carana Corporation, emphasizing IT management and consulting. Dmitry holds degrees in engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and in public administration from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
