Supun Karunarathna is an experienced telecommunications professional with a career spanning various roles in the industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Packet Core Operations at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd since February 2023, Supun has previously worked as a Senior Engineer in Packet Switching & IMS at Hutch Sri Lanka and as a Mobile Core Network Specialist at Dialog Axiata PLC. Supun's expertise includes operational maintenance of packet core networks and IP Multimedia Systems, ensuring network security, and maintaining high availability of core networks. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, ongoing studies in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, and a Diploma in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking.
