Appu Shaji

Appu Shaji is the CEO and Chief Scientist at Mobius Labs. Appu was previously the Head of Research and Development at EyeEm from March 2014 to January 2018. Prior to that, they were the founder of sight.io from September 2012 to February 2014, and the co-founder of Croppola from February 2012 to September 2012. Appu Shaji obtained their PhD from IIT Bombay in July 2003 and has been a post-doc at EPFL since January 2009.

Appu Shaji has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and is currently a Visiting Scholar in Computer Vision at Monash University. Appu also has a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
