Ashwin Nair Anilil

Ashwin Nair Anilil is the head of product at Mobius Labs. Ashwin was previously a technical product manager at Taxfix, where they developed an automated feedback mechanism for users uploading documents using Machine learning and traditional computer vision to reduce failed attempts and improve conversion by 15%. Ashwin also led an initiative that drove annual cost savings of 400k Eur by rebuilding image processing pipeline on inhouse tech and shifting from EC2 instance to a lambda function improving accuracy and reducing runtime per call by 50%. In addition, they led a project to implement PSD2 compliant payments and 3rd party finance system integration across 3 markets (DE, IT, FR).

Before joining Taxfix, Ashwin was a data scientist at HELLA Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH, where they conceived and owned 4 proof of concept products of which 2 demonstrated ability to solve market problems and expanded the product portfolio. Ashwin also designed and built an Computer vision solution receiving international recognition at the leading global market segment conference (InnoTrans 2018) representing the company. Additionally, they analyzed and presented new product development opportunities and commercial applications to internal stakeholders.

Ashwin Nair Anilil has a Master's Degree in Information and Communication Systems from Technische Universität Chemnitz, as well as a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Additionally, Ashwin has certification from Coursera in Managing an Agile Team, Testing with Agile, Running Product Design Sprints, and Agile Meets Design Thinking.
