Nicole Jung

Robotics Engineer at Mobot

Nicole Jung is currently a Robotics Engineer at Mobot. Nicole has also previously worked as a Robotics Mentor at Chapin High School from December 2017 to March 2020, and as a Mechatronics Engineer at RevolutioNICE from October 2017 to January 2020.

As a Robotics Mentor, Nicole was responsible for mentoring an all-girls' team to create a FRC robot fit for competition. This involved helping to organize tasks and groups for the team, as well as teaching students how to use power tools, software, and electronics.

As a Mechatronics Engineer at RevolutioNICE, Nicole performed experiments and collected data testing ultrasonic sensors and LiDAR using Arduino, Hero, and FPGA. Nicole also machined parts for robot construction, 3D modeled different construction robots on Fusion360 and SolidWorks, designed and 3D printed various robot parts, and used Xilinx to code an FPGA in C++ to control a display and keypad for user input, and then controlled a robot using the input. In addition, Nicole developed a C++ program to control a swerve drive in three ways (car drive, spinning, and regular swerve) using a joystick, and programmed a Stewart platform to achieve twist, rotate, and spinning motion. Finally, they integrated three different systems and programs to control all robot systems on the robot with one code.

Nicole Jung graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Nicole also holds a High School Diploma from Bronx High School of Science.

Nicole Jung works with Collin White - Sales, Silvia Pan - Software Engineer, and Jereme Corrado - VP, Engineering. Their manager is Eden Full Goh, Founder & CEO.
