Derek Talbott

Derek Talbott is an ambitious professional currently gaining experience as a Brand Management Intern at Altria and a Project Leader in Marketing at Pomona Consulting Group since January 2024. Derek has held multiple roles at various organizations, including Original Content Intern at MOCEAN and Product Marketing Intern at TREES.app, both starting in May 2023. Additionally, Derek serves as Head of Marketing for Sparkathon and has significant involvement at Pomona College as the English Department Liaison, Head Partner, Writing & Image Partner, and Research Assistant since August 2021. Other notable positions include HSF Scholar at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and Career Prep Fellow at Management Leadership for Tomorrow, both commenced in January 2023, along with prior internships in design, animation, and script coverage. Derek is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English at Pomona College, expected to graduate in 2026, after completing high school at City Arts and Tech High School.
