Kashyap Patel

Kashyap Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kashyap currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Mochila Fulfillment since February 2023. Previously, Kashyap has held the position of Chief Operating Officer at SecondWave Systems, Inc., a medical device startup company focused on developing ultrasound-based wearable platforms for neuromodulation. Kashyap worked there from July 2019 up until February 2023.

Before that, Kashyap worked at The Ultran Group, where they held two roles. Kashyap served as President & CEO from August 2015 to February 2023, and as Chief Operating Officer from March 2012 to August 2015.

Prior to The Ultran Group, Kashyap worked at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they held the role of Director, Business Innovation and Transformation from August 2011 to February 2012. Kashyap also participated in the Senior Leadership Program (SLP) as an associate from August 2010 to August 2011. During this time, they developed and managed the mobile e-commerce strategy for mygofer.com and led a team for implementing features and functionalities on Android and iPhone apps.

Kashyap started their career as a Pathways/Operations Program Intern at Amazon from February 2009 to August 2009. Kashyap was part of the outbound operation group at Amazon's distribution center and successfully implemented cost-saving measures and defect reduction strategies.

Before Amazon, Kashyap worked at Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. as an Associate Project Engineer from February 2007 to May 2008. During their tenure, they managed multiple clients and supervised laboratory activities while receiving recognition for delivering exceptional results.

Kashyap began their professional journey as a Systems Controls Engineer at Cummins, Inc. from August 2004 to February 2007. Kashyap led a team in a Six Sigma project and oversaw the development and validation of engine control calibrations.

In addition to their corporate experience, Kashyap worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2002.

Kashyap Patel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2001 and 2004. Kashyap then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2010. During the same period, they also attended the MIT Sloan School of Management where they completed their MBA with a specialization in Operations.
