Monica Mockus

Monica Mockus has extensive work experience in design and leadership roles. In 1993, they worked as an Analyst at McFaul & Lyons until 1996. From 2003 to 2006, Monica served as a Graphic Designer in the Exhibits department at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. In 2007, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Accume Partners until 2008, where they then joined Merck as a Senior Designer/Project Manager for that year. From 2010 to 2014, Monica worked at Aquent Studios at Merck & Co., Inc. as an Art Director. In 2014, they founded their own company, mock5 design, inc., where they currently hold positions as the Founder & CEO as well as President.

Monica Mockus has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from the Tyler School of Art, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. Before attending Tyler School of Art, Monica studied at Millville from 1986 to 1990, although their degree name and field of study during that time are not specified. Additionally, Monica has obtained several certifications, including "DESIGNING STRATEGY" from IDEO U in November 2022, "Learning Design Research" from LinkedIn in September 2019, and "Planning a Career in User Experience" from LinkedIn in June 2019.
