Sarah Souphankhaysy Swift is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in advocacy and outreach within various organizations focused on social support and development. Currently serving as an Advocate and Outreach Specialist at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault since November 2021, Sarah has previously held positions such as Youth Advocacy Director at Turning Pointe Domestic and Director of Resource Development at YWCA Northeast Kansas. With a background in victim advocacy and family support, combined with experience in operations and marketing roles across different sectors, Sarah brings a diverse skill set to their work. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Central Missouri, along with attendance at Columbia College and The Evergreen State College.

MOCSA’s mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and assault and to prevent sexual violence in our community. Together we can create a community free from sexual assault and abuse. Our services are free of charge and available to survivors and their families in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We offer the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Services: 816-531-0233 & 913-642-0233 - Advocacy: hospital, legal, police, and court advocacy; support groups - Counseling: individual and group therapy - Education: age-appropriate programs for children in elementary, middle, and high schools; training for advocates, counselors, law enforcement, restaurant and bar staff, and other professionals - Prevention: supporting community based coalitions in both Missouri and Kansas to prevent sexual assault and other forms of violence
