Chas South

Chas South has a diverse work experience in finance and startup mentoring. Starting in 2016, Chas worked as a Financial Advisor Intern at Edward Jones. In 2017, they interned as a Global Client Solutions Consulting Intern at FactSet. From 2018 to 2019, Chas worked at Stanley Black & Decker as a Financial Analyst and later as a Financial Analyst in Treasury. In 2020, they joined Lincoln Road Advisors, LLC as a Business Analyst. In the same year, Chas also started working at Mod Op as a Financial Analyst, and later transitioned to the role of Finance Manager in 2022. Continuing their involvement in startups, Chas became a Startup Mentor at Seaworthy Collective in 2021 and later joined GoingVC Partners as a Venture Partner in 2022. Additionally, Chas became a Startup Mentor at 4WARD.VC Climate Accelerator & Investor Syndicate in 2022.

Chas South's education history begins with earning a High School Diploma from The Taft School in 2013. They then went on to attend Bryant University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. In 2016, Chas also completed the Envestnet Institute on Campus Program, which specialized in Investment Management. Later on, in 2017 to 2018, Chas pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Business Analytics from Bryant University. In 2022, Chas attended GoingVC for Cohort 11, where they focused on Venture Capital.
