Bret Awbrey

Bret Awbrey has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a Program Operations Manager role at Raytheon in 2006. Bret then moved to ACCUMEN Inc. in 2011, where they held three different roles, including Client Account Lead (Director), Client Technology Lead, and Sr Manager Lab Operations / Operations Excellence Manager. In 2017, they became Consulting Principal at Nex Cubed, and Finance and Operations at Altriarch. In 2020, they took on a VP of Finance role at both Sway Ventures and Model Medicines, and a Director of Finance role at Sway Ventures. In 2021, they accepted a VP Product and Operations role at Merlin. Bret is currently an Advisor at Nex Cubed.

Bret Awbrey attended The Peddie School from 1993 to 1996. Bret then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, Bret attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration/Systems Management degree in Business Administration, Engineering Systems Division from 2004 to 2006.
