Gene Rendino serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Cornell Center for Regional Economic Advancement, mentoring early-stage entrepreneurial teams on various strategic aspects. As VP of Meeting Finance and Strategy at Model Meetings, Gene enhances meeting productivity through specialized tools. Gene also acts as an Executive Strategy Consultant for Science House, focusing on AI and technology roadmaps. Previously, Gene held academic positions, including Associate Professor of Business Administration at Elmira College and Instructor at Kaua'i Community College. Gene's extensive corporate experience includes roles at Corning Incorporated, where responsibilities spanned product management and manufacturing strategy for Gorilla® Glass®, and positions at Praxair and Mullinix Packages, Inc. Gene holds an MBA with Distinction from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a double major in Philosophy from Cornell University.
