Aileen Bautista (she/her)

Aileen Bautista (she/her) has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Aileen began their career in 2012 as a PR and Marketing Intern at Appency, and a Newsroom Intern at KCRA-TV 3. In the same year, they also worked as a Career Recruiting Program Assistant at UC Davis. In 2014, they began working at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, first as an Admissions Assistant, then as a Program Coordinator and Program Manager in the MBA Career Management Group. From 2016-2018, they worked at Hackbright Academy as an Associate Marketing Manager and Community Project Manager. In 2018, they began working at Slack as a Recruiting Coordinator, Recruiting Programs Specialist for Diversity Programs, and University Recruiter. Most recently, in 2020, they began working part-time as a DEI Program Manager at ModelExpand.

Aileen Bautista holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. Aileen has also completed an Intro to Programming course at Hackbright Academy. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Ascend's Leadership Program (April 2021), ModelExpand's Inclusive Recruiting Bootcamp (November 2020), and Recruiting Toolbox, Inc.'s Recruiting Talent Advisor Training (October 2020).
