Moritz Hübel

Moritz Hübel currently serves as Industry Director at Modelon, leading the Energy, Process & HVAC department and focusing on the development of industry-specific software solutions since April 2019. Prior roles at Modelon include Industry Team Lead for the global Energy team and Senior Simulation Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed software product development and project management in energy and thermo-fluid applications. From February 2012 to March 2019, Moritz Hübel was Team Leader for Energy System Simulation at Universität Rostock/Forschungszentrum Thermodynamik und Verbrennungsmotoren GmbH, managing a team and overseeing publicly funded research projects, alongside experience as a Research Assistant in modeling and simulation research. Earlier experiences include a diploma position and an internship at Vattenfall Europe. Moritz Hübel earned a Dr.-Ing. in Thermodynamics and a Dipl.-Ing. from Universität Rostock.
