Peter Meisrimel

Peter Meisrimel is a seasoned software developer currently employed at Modelon since October 2021. Prior to this role, Peter completed a PhD in Mathematics at Lund University from October 2015 to September 2021, while also serving as a doctoral student specializing in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing. Peter's research experience includes positions as a research assistant at the University of Kassel, where responsibilities included optimizing numerical schemes and refactoring CFD code, and at the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research, focused on numerical methods for simulating biochemical growth processes. Peter's background also includes a brief internship at IBM, developing unit tests for spam detection, and recognition as a professional gamer, achieving the title of Season 1 World Champion in League of Legends.
