Lead Doctor at Modern Animal

Andreana Lim, DVM has extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Andreana is currently the Lead Doctor at Modern Animal, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at McGrath Veterinary Center from 2017 to 2021, where they held the position of Chief of Staff Veterinarian from May 2020 to September 2021, and before that, they were an Associate Veterinarian from October 2017 to May 2020. Andreana also gained experience as a Veterinary Intern at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital from June 2016 to June 2017. Andreana has had additional roles as a Veterinary Extern at Pfizer, the United States Department of Defense-Military Working Dog Veterinary Services, Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, and Yale School of Medicine, all in 2015. Andreana also served as a Toxicology Graduate Intern at Amgen in 2014. Furthermore, Andreana has gained research experience as a Summer Research Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2013 and as a Staff Research Associate/PCR Technician at the Mouse Biology Program at UC Davis from August 2010 to May 2012.

Andreana Lim, DVM, obtained their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology at the University of California, Davis from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degrees, Andreana has obtained various certifications including Fear Free, Stem Cell Injection, and Microsurgical Techniques. Andreana also completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and holds a Business Certificate at the Gold level from the Veterinary Business Management Association.
