Vanessa Aberman

Vanessa Aberman has extensive experience in the veterinary field. Vanessa currently holds the position of Director of Medical Quality at Modern Animal, which they began in August 2022. Prior to this role, Vanessa served as the Regional Medical Director at Modern Animal from August 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Modern Animal, Vanessa worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Larchmont Animal Clinic from January 2018 to July 2021. Vanessa also held positions at VCA Animal Hospitals, where they served as the Area Medical Director from January 2015 to December 2017 and as a Medical Director from April 2006 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, Vanessa worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Szanto Veterinary Center from January 2002 to April 2006 and at Los Feliz Small Animal Hospital from May 2000 to January 2002.

Vanessa Aberman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Vanessa pursued their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Dvm) degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing it in 2000. Additionally, they received training in Canine/feline studies from DABVP until 2011.
