Elizabeth Montalvo's work experience begins with an internship at Payas, Payas, & Payas LLP in 2011, where they assisted criminal defense attorneys and maintained case files. In 2013, they interned at South Milhausen, P.A., gaining experience in commercial and residential real property law and performing various tasks including client communication and file management. In 2014, they were a summer law clerk for The Honorable General Magistrate Cadigan, 13th Judicial Circuit, where they learned about guardianship and trust law and observed hearings. In 2015, they served as an In House Counsel intern at Superior Uniform Group, working under their corporate counsel and conducting legal research and contract negotiations related to medical devices. Elizabeth then joined WilsonHCG in 2016 as a Law Clerk, providing legal support to the company's legal team through research projects, employment agreement assistance, and compliance report updates. In 2017, Montalvo became an Associate Attorney at Vecchio, Carrier, Feldman, & Johannessen, P.A., and also briefly worked as a Contract Attorney at Haas and Castillo PA. Their most recent position, starting in December 2020, is as an Assistant General Counsel/HR Consultant at Modern Business Associates (MBA).

Elizabeth Montalvo's education history begins with their earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from the University of South Florida between 2009 and 2011. Elizabeth then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, completing it from 2011 to 2013. Following that, Elizabeth attended Stetson University College of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from 2013 to 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Elizabeth obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
