James Edmond Jr., Senior Director Of Partner Engagement at Modern Classrooms Project

James Edmond, Jr., Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the education sector. James is currently serving as the Senior Director of Partner Engagement at Modern Classrooms Project since January 2024. Previously, they worked as the Director of Partner Engagement at the same organization from August 2022 to January 2024. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal at Woodside Elementary School from July 2008 to August 2022, and at J.E. Jones Elementary School from July 2004 to June 2008. James also worked as the Coordinator of Special Projects at the School District of Cudahy from August 2001 to June 2004. Their career in education started as an Eighth Grade Language Arts & Social Studies Teacher at Shorewood Intermediate School, where they worked from August 1995 to June 2001.

James Edmond, Jr., Ph.D. has an extensive education history. James obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Education- English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1995. Later, they pursued a Master's of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Marian University of Fond du Lac from 1999 to 2001. In 2009, James Edmond, Jr. completed their Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Leadership, Learning, and Service from Cardinal Stritch University. Additionally, they acquired various licenses from Cardinal Stritch University in 2006, including License #80: Director of Special Education/Pupil Services and License #10: Director of Instruction. Finally, in 2012 and 2013, they obtained License #03: Superintendent from the same institution. Notably, in 2023, James Edmond, Jr. also obtained a certification as a Revenue Infrastructure Advocate from RevJen.
