Jim Nolton

Jim Nolton is an accomplished engineering professional with 35 years of experience, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Modern Flames since February 2018. In this role, Jim leads a diverse engineering team in product development and innovation, overseeing design reviews, supply chain management, and qualification testing. Previously, Jim held the position of CEO at Novocryo, directing the company's strategic vision and growth. Prior roles include Engineering New Business Lead at Orbital Sciences Corporation/Northrup Grumman, where Jim contributed to the design and manufacturing of rockets and satellites, and Director of New Product Development at iGo, Inc., a public electronics firm. Jim holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University.
