Stephanie Preston-Hughes

Stephanie Preston-Hughes, MEd, LMHC, NCC, is a licensed mental health counselor and owner of Orange Counseling, PLLC, specializing in trauma-informed care for LGBTQ+ clients since January 2019. In addition to managing daily business operations, Stephanie provides direct counseling through Modern Health and facilitates online community support webinars on various topics. Previous experience includes roles at the University of Central Florida, where Stephanie led the training of graduate student interns and served on the Transgender Care Team, as well as providing emotional support and counseling in hospice care and domestic violence settings. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Counseling from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wright State University.
