Mothusi Pahl has extensive work experience in the energy and technology sectors. Mothusi currently holds the role of Vice President of Business Development & Government Affairs at Modern Hydrogen, where they focus on decarbonization and resiliency. Prior to this, Mothusi served as the Chief Commercial Officer at B3 Bar Holdings, leading sales and marketing efforts in the energy, utilities, and infrastructure markets. Mothusi also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of California, Santa Cruz and as a Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer at Ondaka. Mothusi has held senior positions at Alphabet Energy, Radiant Power, Comverge, and Cummins Inc., where they led business development, marketing, and sales activities in various regions. Mothusi'sexperience includes managing products and services, developing corporate strategies, and driving innovation in the energy industry.

Mothusi Pahl completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Yale School of Management between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additionally, Mothusi pursued Chinese Studies at both Peking University and Tsinghua University. Mothusi also holds several certifications, including being a Fellow & Alumnus of the 2019 Energy & Sustainability Cohort at Plug and Play Tech Center, a Fellow & Alumnus of Asset Visualization & Automated Data Surfacing for Critical Infrastructure & Heavy Industry at StartX, and a Fellow & Alumnus of the #1 Enterprise-focused accelerator program specializing in Contextualized Data Understanding for Heavy Industry at Alchemist Accelerator. Mothusi also earned a Certificate in Field Handling of Natural Gas from the Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin.
