Ryan Hammel

Ryan Hammel is an experienced professional in communication and marketing, currently serving as the Assistant to the President and Group Publisher at Modern Luxury, overseeing Hamptons Magazine and Manhattan Magazine since June 2024. Prior to this role, Ryan co-founded Hopelessly Yellow and held the position of Editor-in-Chief from January 2021 to May 2024. Additional experience includes roles such as Creative Consultant and Marketing Associate at Yogafreak, Director of Public Relations and Advertising for Alpha Phi International Fraternity, and VP of Communications and Social Media Chair at MASH Magazine. Ryan interned at FleishmanHillard focusing on consumer public relations for Chase Sapphire and gained social media marketing experience at Persona Media Inc. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Michigan, completed in 2024, and is a graduate of Rye Country Day School.
