David Usher

David Usher is a skilled field engineer currently working at Modern Railway Systems, focusing on the Downtown Redmond Link Extension and Federal Way Link Extension projects since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a project engineer with Sierra Construction Company, Inc. on the Eclipse Apartments project in Seattle and a construction inspection intern at Snohomish County Engineering Services for the 35th Ave SE Corridor, Phase II. David also held a position as a carpenter with H3 Construction Consultants and served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate from October 2012 to October 2018. Academically, David Usher holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, an Associate of Science in Engineering from Edmonds College, and completed technical training in Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology at the Navy Nuclear Technical School between 2012 and 2014.
