Francisco Leon

Francisco Leon is an accomplished professional in the field of AI engineering and data science, currently engaged with Modern Treasury as part of the AI Engineering team since January 2025. Previously, Francisco served as the Head of Artificial Intelligence Engineering at Trovata from November 2018 to January 2025, where leadership in strategy and product development led to the creation of Trovata AI, the first generative AI tool for treasury and finance, currently patent pending. Earlier experience includes roles at Capital One, where significant contributions encompassed risk modeling and the development of APIs to enhance customer experience. Francisco's career began with internships at Mastercard and SAVDS, complemented by a robust educational background with a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics/Statistics and ongoing Master's studies in Statistics from San José State University.
