Martin Hopkins

Martin Hopkins, CFP, serves as the Managing Director at Modern Wealth Management since May 2024 and has held the position of Chairman of the Board at DANIEL Finance Ltd since May 2018, contributing to the development of innovative payment solutions for financial institutions. Previously, Martin was the Chief Executive Officer at Wealth Management Solutions LLC from July 2021 to May 2024 and President of Hopkins Investment Management from June 2001 to June 2021, where the firm provided fee-only investment management and financial planning services. Martin's career began in banking law as President of ML Hopkins & Co Law Firm from June 1986 to January 1996, followed by a role as Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley from February 1998 to June 2001. Martin holds an LLB in Law and a B.Comm in Accounting & Business Administration from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
