John Loucks

John Loucks has a diverse work experience in various industries. John began their career as an Estimator at Modern Welding Company, Inc. in 2015 and later became the Business Development Manager/Code Compliance Officer. In 2022, they were promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales/Marketing at the same company. In 2017, John also worked at UL, where they held roles related to Underwriters Laboratories standards. John joined STI/SPFA in 2018 and served on the Technical Committee and Board of Directors, contributing to the development of standards for atmospheric storage tanks and pressure vessels. In 2021, they joined the Petroleum Equipment Institute, where they currently serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, John is the Principal Owner of Stave Coffee Company since 2019.

John Loucks has a Master of Science degree from Drexel University, obtained in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree from The University of Alabama, which they completed in 2016. John'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Alabama, which they obtained in the period from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, John Loucks has also obtained several certifications. John received a Technical Writing for Engineers certificate from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) in April 2018. John also holds an NDT Radiographic (X-Ray) Certification from Modern Welding Company, Inc., obtained in January 2018. Furthermore, they have a KMAC (Kentucky Manufacturing Assistance Center) 5S Quality Certification, although the specific timing of when they obtained this certification is not provided.
