Kate Horberg Schieffer

Kate Horberg Schieffer currently serves as a Fraternal Outreach Associate at Modern Woodmen of America and has held various roles in education and community engagement. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Education Innovation at United Way Quad Cities, where collaboration with schools and community organizations fostered a community school model. At St. Ambrose University, Kate contributed to the development of the Master of Public Health Program through teaching and student coordination. Previous roles also encompass educational positions in local schools, an ESL instructor, and a Peace Corps Volunteer focused on community health in Cameroon. Kate holds a Master's Degree in Education and Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Augustana College.
