Joa Ljungberg

Joa Ljungberg is an experienced curator specializing in contemporary art, currently holding the position of Curator for Exhibitions at Moderna Museet Malmö since May 2009. Previous roles include Co Director of the Tirana International Contemporary Art Biennial (2008-2009), Curator for public art commissions at Statens konstråd (2004-2009), Artistic Director of the Gothenburg International Biennial for Contemporary Art (2006-2007), and Curator at the Tirana International Contemporary Art Biennial (2004-2005). Joa Ljungberg holds a Master of Arts in Creative Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from Uppsala University, and has participated as a visiting student in the History of Art program at the University of Warwick through an Erasmus scholarship.
