Emilia Vanni

Emilia Vanni is a highly experienced scientist specializing in virology, currently serving as a Principal Scientist in the Infectious Diseases Group at Moderna since January 2021. Prior to this role, Emilia held positions as a Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scholar at esteemed institutions such as Harvard University and Stanford University, contributing to significant research from November 2017 to January 2021 and December 2012 to September 2017, respectively. Emilia began a postdoctoral research position at the University of Glasgow in November 2011 after earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Virology from the same institution, where studies were completed between 2007 and 2011. In addition, Emilia pursued education at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2005.
