John Lepore

John Lepore is the SVP of Government Engagement at Moderna Therapeutics. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Global Government Affairs at RELX from 2013 to 2017, and as Vice President of Government Affairs for Emerging Markets & Asia Pacific at GSK from 1998 to 2013. From 1996 to 1998, Lepore was Senior Counsel on the Energy and Commerce Committee for the U.S. House of Representatives.

John Lepore studied at Boston College for their Bachelor of Arts and then Georgetown University Law Center for their Doctor of Law. John also has a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, which they got through a joint degree program. John is certified by the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

They are on a team with Debra Milasincic - SVP, Intellectual Property, Brian Sandstrom - VP, Associate General Counsel, and Shaun Ryan - SVP & Deputy General Counsel. Their manager is Shannon Thyme Klinger, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary.
