David Berglund

David Berglund is an experienced leader in regulatory operations and digital innovation, currently serving as Executive Director at Moderna since November 2023. Berglund has been a Board Member of the IRISS Forum since July 2019, focusing on advancing the mission of implementing a paperless regulatory submissions environment. Previously, Berglund held various senior positions at AstraZeneca, culminating in the role of Global Head of Regulatory Operations from February 2011 to November 2023, and has contributed significantly to regulatory systems management within the organization. Berglund's early career included project management roles at Structosense AB and Duke Systems AB. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Uppsala University and a High School Diploma from Mission Viejo High School.
