Andrew Palmer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andrew is currently the Chief Technology Officer and a member of the founding team at ModernFi, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at MongoDB as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2020 to October 2022. From February 2017 to September 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Broadway Technology. In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Research Specialist at Cornell University and as an Embedded Software Engineering Intern at Lutron Electronics. In 2015, they were an IP Logic Design/Validation Engineering Intern at Intel Corporation, and in 2014, they were a Technology Development Intern at Covisint. Andrew also has prior experience as a Research and Development Intern at Interventional Spine in 2012.
Andrew Palmer pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Cornell University. Andrew attended Cornell University from 2011 to 2015. Andrew then went on to further enhance their academic qualifications by pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University from 2015 to 2016. Subsequently, in 2019 to 2020, they further expanded their knowledge and expertise by completing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science at Cornell Tech.
