Daniel McCaffrey

Senior Project Manager, Assistant Director Of National Bridge Group at Modjeski And Masters, Inc.

Daniel McCaffrey has extensive work experience in the field of bridge engineering. Daniel started their career in 2000 as a Structural Engineer at Modjeski and Masters, where they worked on various design and analysis aspects of vehicle, pedestrian, and railroad bridges. Daniel gained expertise in bridge types such as steel/concrete I/box beams, steel truss, suspension, moveable, and cable-stayed bridges. During their time at Modjeski and Masters, they worked on bridge projects in multiple states, including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Alabama, Indiana, Missouri, West Virginia, Virginia, Utah, Iowa, Massachusetts, and Dubai. Daniel also had the opportunity to beta test the majority of PennDOT design programs while stationed at PennDOT's Central Office. In 2016, Daniel McCaffrey took on the role of Project Manager and Associate at Modjeski and Masters. In 2022, they were promoted to Senior Project Manager and Assistant Director of the National Bridge Group.

Daniel McCaffrey attended Walter Panas High School from 1993 to 1996, where they did not receive a degree or pursue any specific field of study. After completing high school, they went on to study at West Virginia University from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
