Amber Mason (Vucina) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Amber started their career as an After School Program Director at the Modoc County Office of Education in 2010. Amber later became the 40 Developmental Assets Coordinator in the same organization. In 2006, they worked as a Server/Night Manager at Jon & Bon's Yogurt Shoppe. Amber then served as an After School Program Director at the Chico Area Recreation & Park District in 2008.

Amber Mason (Vucina) joined MMC-Modoc Medical Center in 2013, initially working as an HR Recruiter and later as an Executive Assistant & District Clerk. Amber then took on the role of Human Resources Manager, Director of Human Resources, and currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Before joining MMC-Modoc Medical Center, they were the Deputy Clerk of the Board at Modoc County from 2014 to 2015. In their role, they were responsible for various administrative and clerical duties for the Board of Supervisors.

Amber Mason (Vucina) has demonstrated a strong background in human resources, program management, and administrative support throughout their career.

Amber Mason (Vucina) started their education journey in 2007 when they enrolled at Shasta College. Amber pursued a degree in Business Administration, with a focus on business, economics, and accounting. Amber completed their studies at Shasta College in 2008.

Afterward, they advanced their education at California State University, Chico from 2008 to 2010. At Chico State, they pursued a degree in Human Resources. Their coursework covered various subjects including general studies, marketing, management, accounting, human resources, information systems, and operations.

In addition to their formal education, Amber Mason (Vucina) obtained a certification in SHRM - CA Employment Law Credential from SHRM in March 2019.
