Michele Tung

Michele Tung is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship across various sectors. Currently, Michele serves on the Government Affairs Committee for the Modular Building Institute and is the Co-Founder and CEO of homeD, a company dedicated to providing innovative green modular homes for vulnerable communities with the mission to house one billion individuals globally. Michele's previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the First Nations Housing & Infrastructure Council - BC, and founding Mandarin Orange, a Chinese-language educational program, as well as HALO Trading Ltd., a manufacturing and distribution company. Michele's background also includes marketing management at PwC and a notable career in media as a television host and news anchor for the Shanghai Media Group. Michele holds an MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution.
